Picture Postcards of Alpena

Take a tour! Have a look!

Second Avenue

Now, you might think I'm a bit nuts for posting so many pictures of one area.

But I'm not! Its good to see the evolution of the town, and each picture has a unique viewpoint.

A different angle, a store or two ahead or behind, all showing different pieces of Alpena life.

I've also included photos of the bridge for your viewing pleasure.

This one is definitely ca 1950s-1960s.

"Looking north on Second Avenue, this intersection marks the center of Alpena's active business life.
